Kuda Kepang play is aimed at establishing a relationship with the spirits of the dead. Besides, they also believe kuda kepang played was to clear the village of disturbances demons, disease and disaster. Java community still holds a strong belief and trust supernatural element to many of their fathers had done certain rites involving the worship muddied the waters.
