Taboos in Kuda Kepang

As I promised, I will post the taboos in kuda kepang in this post.

what is it ? 

In Kuda kepang or braids horse game is players cannot kidded during the game or when being drunk for fear making the situation worse and uncontrollable. But, major taboo is not be able to see the red cloth as it is natural taboo. Also, cannot be seen or viewed pages or fragments for fear of being eaten by the player.

                                           

When the music began to resound, sign players, led by the "disa" enter the ring. Players will dance to the beat and rhythm of the song. Every dancer will ride od drive a horse webbing (horse braid). Dance often presented in a ceremony braid horse dance is Solo Dance, Shawn Dance, and Bamboo Shoots Dance named "Lenggang Gait". The dancers dance so drunk or unconscious  for 2 hours. This condition is referred to as the "rose sheik". They can perform actions or movements of strange and unusual such as martial jumping as high as 6 feet and so on. 

During the dancers in such circumstances, the sound that accompany this dance will intensify. Supposedly, if the music is no robust , so the dancers will be angry and will kill or kick  the music player. This behavior is  portrayed  the horse is angry. If things get too wild, Tok Shaman will leads the guards caught and threw them to the ground. Then the dancers will ne restores by Tok Shaman and will back to normal.
