I won't talk much today , i will just present you guys the picture of kuda kepang. This one I took from someone's blog based on his experienced in Tanah Merah before. Enjoy it !

Spell As A Cure

Every disease, there is a cure. Same goes to this kind of 'disease'.   Tok Shaman who will treat them will use a spell to cure them.  This is the spell that been used 

Bisnillahirahmanirahim

Malaikat wadi wadi manikam

Sing jogo darang tulang kulit tulang

Pulih podo bahaya

Bukan aku kabeh jampi

Bukan aku punya tangkal berkat doa ilaha Illa Muhammad r-rasulullah

There are meaning besides this spell. First, they mention 'bismillah' , After that it follow with a call to 'malaikat wadi wadi manikam'  When we look at it back, it shows they exclamation the angel. 

'Malaikat wadi wadi manikam'  it is the jin who called earlier, said to be the inhabitants of heaven, called upon to diffuse the dancer's body allowing  the dancers, ballroom dancing horse braid.

After all, it already shows that kuda kepang is syirik.  

Besides, they have traditional ways to heal them which speakers refered to is a few grains of incenses, where the embers to burn incense. pot raw water, nasi campur (rice with chicken and fish have been mixed vegetables, cake mix and the main thing is money of RM2.25 submitted by the host or Tok Shaman organizers to show fee for each foe each performance or braid horse is not less than RM200.

                              

My advice is don't trust any of this thing!

As you guys know, Kuda Kepang has known because of their weird behavior when they started to dance and get into character.

How weird and dangerous they are even  eat glass!

In Kuda Kepang they have dishes to serve before start the performance as they need to call the jin/makhluk halus.   They will need incense censer, meals served also the sound of drums and gongs hammered.

These are the others taboos in Kuda Kepang. This happened based on their experienced itself, according to the players who experienced something like this, when they dreamed of riding  a horse drunk as they danced to the accompaniment of music. Clearly Kuda kepang dancing spirit that has become  a foundation of trust and their fans. Besides, the horses-lat braid must be stored properly for fear of being scolded by "spirit". This indicates that the game braid horse has its own beliefs.

In addition, they also are not allowed to see glasses because it might cause danger to them.

This Kuda Kepang very mysterious because of the player is not their self.

Taboos in Kuda Kepang

As I promised, I will post the taboos in kuda kepang in this post.

what is it ? 

In Kuda kepang or braids horse game is players cannot kidded during the game or when being drunk for fear making the situation worse and uncontrollable. But, major taboo is not be able to see the red cloth as it is natural taboo. Also, cannot be seen or viewed pages or fragments for fear of being eaten by the player.

                                           

When the music began to resound, sign players, led by the "disa" enter the ring. Players will dance to the beat and rhythm of the song. Every dancer will ride od drive a horse webbing (horse braid). Dance often presented in a ceremony braid horse dance is Solo Dance, Shawn Dance, and Bamboo Shoots Dance named "Lenggang Gait". The dancers dance so drunk or unconscious  for 2 hours. This condition is referred to as the "rose sheik". They can perform actions or movements of strange and unusual such as martial jumping as high as 6 feet and so on. 

During the dancers in such circumstances, the sound that accompany this dance will intensify. Supposedly, if the music is no robust , so the dancers will be angry and will kill or kick  the music player. This behavior is  portrayed  the horse is angry. If things get too wild, Tok Shaman will leads the guards caught and threw them to the ground. Then the dancers will ne restores by Tok Shaman and will back to normal.
